FINO Y ESPONJOSO (2024)
Live audiovisual performance (20’), Volumens Festival 2024.
A live exploration of home and distance through sound. Using recordings exchanged during our residencies in Colombia and Argentina —voices, domestic noises, urban landscapes— we manipulated and assembled the audio in real time to create an abstract narrative about estrangement and memory. The set combined sound modification techniques (granulation, pitch shifting, loops) with improvisation, transforming the intimate into a collective experience.
Concept and realisation: Belén Cortés & Tatiana Álvarez.

Live set with Ableton Live and MIDI controllers, processing field recordings and voice files using granular effects and real-time automation.
The visual component, developed in TouchDesigner, reactivated self-generated material—illustrations, photographs, and videos—using a custom patch with particle systems, optical feedback, and generative effects, synchronised in real time with the audio.
MIDI/OSC parameters modulated both sound and visual textures, creating an ecosystem where the ephemeral became tangible
This post-performance recording captures the soundscape of the piece, although its essence lies in live manipulation.
